The interstitials would follow the demigod, Siegfried, as he faces three challenges, each one granting a reel of the next batch of submissions, and the location of the next challenge.
A character would meet weird characters in a dream. That's as specific as I've gotten, but I was inspired by this movie called Ink, which creates some very surreal effects using Viz Lab-level compositing and stuff.
A hero wanders a desert for lost footage from the Viz Lab. Filming locations that may pass as post-apocalyptic may include...
- A construction site
- An abandoned house in the middle of the woods
- That room with all the pipes.
